Raphael Martins was Rob's stuntman during the filming of “Breaking Dawn” in Brazil. He talked to EGO about working alongside Rob and Kristen (Google translate version):

After shooting the first scenes with them at the Gloria Marina, downtown Rio, Raphael went with the team long to Paraty, Costa Verde in Rio during the five days of shooting on the beach bag Mamanguá, it was he who replaces Pattinson markings on the scene and light measurements in the set. When all was ready, he emerged as a framework for giving place to the English actor.

“I had no time to talk with them. It was hard work, great scene, but noticed that he and Kristen are super friendly, cheerful and professional. When they were ready to film a scene with stunts we (he and Roberta Thaise, who replaced Kristen), had to follow their every move, even the makeup. Because if they needed to be replaced, we needed to be aware of everything, “said Raphael.

He was only released from filming the waterfall scenes. In this case they used a stunt action with experience in circus arts.“I believe he plunged from the top of the waterfall in place of Pattinson,” he said.“There were several directors. I watched how they work, as they direct the actors and it was very important to me. What also impressed me with the amount of boats and vehicles they had rented for the film. There were many! ”

Kristen's double in Brazil, gave an interview to Quem magazine where she talks about the experience of meeting both Kristen and Rob on set, and the road that got her there:

It all began in September when she and Raphael Martins, 22, Pattinson's look-a-like, did a photo shoot for a Brazilian newspaper. In late October, Roberta was called up to the producer Zohar, one of those responsible for filming in Rio after an indication by Raphael. "The cinematographer of the film joked that I was prettier than Kristen," she says. Prevented by contract to tell details of the shooting, Roberta had to hide the news from friends and even his brother Rafael, 11, who is a fan of the saga by Stephenie Meyer. Just told her mother. "The pay is in U.S. dollars. I can only say that it is good money," she says. "I'm not a fan. I saw the movie only because my friends said I looked like Kristen. I am not identical. We share the bright white skin, hair and delicate nose, " she says.

On Monday (9), Roberta and Raphael participated in a romantic sequence in a waterfall in Paraty, a city of Rio, which lasted about 12 hours. The cast and crew are there from Monday (9), since according to the original story is in this tropical setting that Edward and Bella are the honeymoon. Roberta says that when the actors came to film at the Gloria Marina in Rio's Zona Sul, Kristen shook her hand and Robert thanked her with a polite "thank you". "As I do not speak English, I did not try to respond back. They are really quick to shoot, no work at all" she says. "Sure, we wanted to take pictures and autographs with them, but we weren't allowed. They were super friendly. Kristen is much prettier in person. "

UPDATE 11/15: Footage has now been pulled by YouTube due to a claim by Summit.

Panico na TV was able to shoot some alleged undercover video at the Breaking Dawn set in Paraty. Apparently the person who did it has even managed to break into the Oscars. It's what he does for the show. All in good fun it seems like, although doubt Bill Condon and Co. will feel that way.

Actual footage that aired during show..

The president of the Rio Film Commission had this to say when informed about the show (via PattinsonStew):

Regarding the Panico 'Breaking Dawn' set invasion: "I did not see it...But I'm aware...It happens!"

He went on to say that filming was not disrupted by the intrusion, and that it was actually helicopter noise that stopped production at times.

Thanks for the feedback Paulie_foforks. It really helped us understand what the show is all about.

P.S. Panico na TV: Don't expect a red carpet invitation to the premiere.. then again, you can probably break into that too.

This is a bit of what the lucky fans had to say (Google translated):

Our Twilight saga had a happy ending. We shot with them at the airport when they landed the helicopter and were moving towards the VIP lounge to wait for the flight back home.

I was very happy, they were very friendly and caring, took pictures, autographs and when it was time to go Rob even said good-bye bye-bye with a smile, I want to share my excitement with all the fans of this wonderful couple.

We're told exclusively that the photographer who took those pictures camped out for two days in a wooded area. He reportedly avoided search dogs and 60 armed soldiers. According to the president of the Rio Film Commission, Breaking Dawn filming in Brazil wrapped today. Back to Baton Rouge and then Vancouver!
