Crossing the Blues
Here's a little wrap on Rob's different projects. We begin with Water for Elephants, which keeps getting acknowledged as one of the films you don't want to miss in 2011.

CNN's Tom Charity:

The truth is, you hope for pleasant surprises, but you pin your trust in the filmmakers who have impressed you in the past. This year, there may be dozens of terrific films coming down the pipeline, but these are the 10 prospects that really float my boat.

“I Am Legend” director Francis Lawrence aims to capture the magic in Sara Gruen’s best-seller about a traveling circus. Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson put on the show, while Richard (“Fisher King”) LaGravenese wrote the script that convinced “Inglourious Basterds” discovery Christoph Waltz that this was a better way to go than David Cronenberg’s next picture.

Kind of ironic that Rob will be working with Cronenberg in Cosmopolis no?.. Hollywood Dailies talked about it, after the news broke earlier this week.

The Guardian mentioned the news as well (below), and here's everything you'll want to know about the role.

There was also plenty of news on the Twilight front. Starting with word that Carter Burwell will return to handle the score for Breaking Dawn:

Burwell has an existing relationship with the director of the final two parts, Bill Condon, having collaborated on “Kinsey” and “Gods And Monsters”
Now can we hope that Rob will also be back to play the piano?.. our guess is no, but we can wish.

Forbes named Rob and Kristen as one of Hollywood's top-grossing on-screen couples. They come in at #5:

While romance might take a backseat to action in many of the movies on our list, it's the driving force in the Twilight films. It doesn't hurt that Pattinson and Stewart are also a couple in real life. So far the movies have earned $1.8 billion at the global box office. The last book, Breaking Dawn, has been divided into two movies. The first will hit theaters this coming November

Finally, we know you can never get tired of seeing this..

You get your chance to relive the hotness from Italy as New Moon premieres on Showtime this weekend. Best part?.. it's free! - plus we hear Peter and Kellan show up in some promotional clips.

Enjoy the weekend!
