Rob will be presenting an award along with Reese at the show tonight, and we are ready to go. We will be bringing you full coverage on twitter, Facebook and our blog. You can watch the red carpet starting at 3:30 PT right here. Link for actual show here. Then come back for updates all night long!
Miranda Lambert is nominated for seven awards, including Top Female Vocalist and, for the first time, Entertainer of the Year. In addition, Lambert is nominated for Single Record of the Year and Song of the Year for "The House That Built Me," and holds two nominations for Video of the Year for "Only Prettier" and "The House That Built Me." She is also nominated for Vocal Event of the Year with Sheryl Crow and Loretta Lynn for "Coal Miner's Daughter." Lambert is the reigning ACM Top Female Vocalist.
Guess what award they are presenting?
Stay tuned for all the details, links, pictures and videos from the show on Sunday. For now check out the last minute details, as crews work behind the scenes at the MGM in Las Vegas.
For the rest of the pics of all sizes check out RPLife.
So what was Rob wearing?
CNN liked the look.. and Rob's honesty on the red carpet:
Moving on to one Robert Pattinson, who dared to be different in a navy blue suit. Pattinson is presenting the nominees in the best foreign film tonight, but he hadn't, er, quite brushed up on what's what in that category. Ah well. At least he and Alexa Chung had a good laugh about his cluelessness.
You can watch that interview at the bottom of the post.
Screencaps
During the show
Of course the hottest table according to E! was the one Rob was at:
Robert Pattinson and Helen Mirren were seated opposite each other, we presume to prevent the table unseemly rumors and/or to protect the place from bursting into flame.
Robert Pattinson seemed to be enjoying himself during the Golden Globe telecast — relaxing backstage with a beer and debating on how he'd present one of the trophies.
Our associates over at Awards Tracker peeped the hectic behind-the-scenes action, where "Twilight Saga" star was spotted indulging in a Heineken with Summit Entertainment head Eric Feag.
Handsome vampires also need a smoke break at the Golden Globes. Midway through the show, "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson steps onto the patio to light up.
Outdoor lounge
Here is Rob presenting the award, which Amazon called one of the best moments of the night:
Putting Olivia Wilde and Robert Pattinson together as co-presenters, as it resulted in a sensory overload of clear-blue-eyed handsomeness.
And this is what Olivia had to say about it..
Olivia also talked to the LA Times about hanging out with Rob:
"We laughed so much," she said of her moments with Pattinson before presenting the award for best foreign film. "He's seriously one of the funniest people."
We start off with a great interview where Rob talks Breaking Dawn honeymoon still and Water for Elephants. Check it out on E!
So what does finishing Breaking Dawn mean to him?.. his answer in an LA Times article that also includes some cool production details from director Bill Condon. Read that interview at this link.
Rob also talked to MTV about all of his films and chatted with Access Hollywood, and Extra as well. You'll find all those interviews here.
Robert Pattinson stopped Ricky Gervais on his way in to tell him his performance was "perfect". Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson joined their conversation and all four were soon laughing hysterically
Plenty of people spotted Rob, including New York Magazine that mentioned him twice on their live blog:
8:16 p.m. Robert Pattinson is escorted by two security guards down a staircase and into the party.
9:55 p.m. Robert Pattinson and Andrew Garfield hug. Garfield's girlfriend, Shannon Woodward (Raising Hope), takes a seat nearby as the two talk. Pattinson's two bodyguards are still in tow even though, surprisingly, the actor is not being swarmed by photo requests.
Hello?! New York Magazine.. TWO security guards. And E! backs our suspicions on why no pics:
Robert Pattinson is not ready for his close up. Or at least he wasn't, according to his security guy, who shut down partygoers with cameras at HBO's post-Globes bash. After he presented at the Globes, Rob hit HBO's poolside party and was hanging with fellow Brit Andrew Garfield. But when one person was going to ask if they could take a photo... His guard jumped in as soon as he saw them take out their camera. "He's not taking any photos," the gruff guard said, telling them to put the camera away. While Rob himself seemed to be in great spirits, we can't say the same for his security guard. Maybe he should have had one of the Heinekens Rob was throwing back himself.
More from the New York Times (Seriously.. we're talking the NEW YORK TIMES that got snubbed here):
The Bagger did run into Andrew Garfield by the pool at HBO, but he waved off our tape recorder. “You want a scoop?” he said. “You’re going in the pool!” He aimed to push us in jokingly, as his girlfriend, Shannon Woodward (the TV series “Raising Hope”), protested. Then Robert Pattinson came over and things got really off the record. (Attention tweens: Mr. Garfield, star of “The Social Network” and the forthcoming “Spider-Man,” and Mr. Pattinson did exchange numbers.)
Up on the fourth floor of the Beverly Hilton, NBC Universal and Focus Features held their shindig. MC Lite was pushing out ’90s tunes while Annette Bening, Julianne Moore, Jimmy Fallon and the casts from “The Office” and “Chuck” made the rounds. Even Robert Pattinson showed up, heavily guarded, of course.
E! shared some more scoop..
They also had a camera at the party - you can see the rest of the caps at Twilight Poison.
