The Eclipse DVD is now available in Australia and New Zealand, and this is among the clips it includes. Fairly certain it's from the Electronic Press Kit, so not really any new feedback from Rob post-Eclipse. But it's still nice to hear Rob's thoughts on Edward and how the character developed in Eclipse.
UPDATE 12/2: Here's a few more interviews, one with Entertainment Weekly, where David Slade talks about the Edward scene that was planned but never shot. There's also some 3D scoop from E! Online, more from Next Movie, Vancouver Sun and deleted scene talk over at MovieWeb and CNN.
MTV's Next Movie blog got a chance to chat with David Slade ahead of the DVD release of Eclipse this weekend. Among the goodies they got out of him, was the scoop on the wedding that didn't happen:
Read the rest at Next Movie. So what do you guys think?.. would you have preferred to have seen the wedding at the end of Eclipse? let us know!
The LA Times also interviewed the director, and he shared details on just how long it took to finish Eclipse. He also mentioned why on the DVD, the focus was all on the fans:

Slade spoke to Collider about the process of making Eclipse, and gave super fun and insightful information. A MUST READ.

"This is the only thing I've ever done that's had such a fan subculture, so with the deleted scenes I wanted to do a little justification for them," Slade said.

Collider posted this picture along with an article on the DVD that includes The Summer House. It talks about the bundling being misleading, but if you are a fan of Rob's you knew The Summer House is a short film included in the Love and Distrust DVD, and he's in it for a few minutes (which we'll take). Read the article at Collider.
