There are bad photoshops, and then there are the really good ones. Next Movie had a little free time on their hands, so they took on the task of imagining Rob in six literary classics. Below are our favorite ones, but check the rest at their site.

The Harry Potter Exhibition opens today in New York's Times Square, and The Stir has a great article on who is really the star of that show:


Not a place for little kids. A place for teenagers. Teenagers who grew up reading the books and are still in that "OMG, Daniel Radcliffe wore those sneakers" stage. Or, to be more exact: "OMG, ROBERT PATTINSON WORE THAT QUIDDITCH ROBE."

Robert Pattinson, the vampire in the Twilight saga, looks tired but has a huge smile on his face because right now he is promoting his new movie "Water For Elephants" and he is ready to talk about everything besides Kristen Stewart, who everyone claims to be his girlfriend. Everyone but him who doesn't even want to talk about it.

Q: Lets talk about Water for Elephants, as soon as the movie starts, on the screen we see a phrase about your character and the fact that he is still waiting for his life to start, that since that moment nothing important has already happened to him. Have you ever had this same feeling? Moreover for you what really was the turning point in your life?

A: My life already started but it didn't reach the turning point yet. Even if I think I reach the turning point every 2 years. Let me explain..every 2/3 years it feels like my life is moving in fastforward and everytime I find myself thinking: What's going to happen now.

Q: So what is going to happen now?

A: I don't know. I think I'm reaching the end of something

Q: Work or personal life?

A: Both. Work in some kind of way is an influence in private life. It's like every 3 movies something in my life changes.

Q: What would you like to do now?

A: I would like to be able to give something more during the production of a movie. After the Twilight Saga I have another project. Cosmopolis, with director David Cronenberg I believe it's going to be fun and a completely different work from the one on the Twilight Saga. And after Cosmopolis I think I want to start something new. I already have some project in mind.

Q: Are you talking about music? Still thinking about being a musician?


A:Yes even though I haven't played in long time. To be clear I don't play every day anymore. For example recently I was in New Orleans and I played piano with a local band in a pub. It was fun and I asked myself: "Why did I stop to playing the piano?" It was incredible and I had so much fun. However working with music needs a lot of time and to do it I would have to leave everything else, take 6 months off just for playing and learning to play piano and guitar again. But at this time in my career I can't afford to do it.

Q: Right now you are working only on you movie career: What does it feels to be the guy who every women of every age feels in love with?

A: I can't explain what I feel. Yes it's good, but I hope all the love depends on my work and on me and not of the image that people create of me. I hope they like me for who I am, and not for what the people imagine me to be and want me to be. I'm happy for all this love and I appreciate it so much and the only thing I can do is thank the fans by doing my job well and hoping that my movies are going to be loved. I don't know any other way to thank the fans.

Q: You seems so modest. But when you look at yourself in the mirror you have to recognise that you are handsome and that you are loved even for this reason

A: Yes I realize that. But it's funny how before Twilight I never had the part of the good looking guy.

After Twilight everything changed and it's weird because all of a sudden everyone started looking at me in a different way.

Q: I read that one time you went out for dinner with a fan..true or false?

A: It's true, it happened in Spain. But it was before Twilight. The girl was a fan of Harry Potter and she recognized me. I was in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenyx and the Goblet Of Fire.

Q: Where in Spain?

A: Barcelona where I was filming Little Ashes. I was filming in that city and this girl was always waiting for me asking me for an autograph outside of my apartment every single day. I didn't know anybody in Barcelona and she knew English and she seems like a nice normal girl. One night while I was going out for a dinner alone, as usual, she was there outside my apartment so I asked her "do you wanna come to dinner with me?" We had dinner together and after that she didn't wait for me anymore. She went with me to her parent's restaurant so they pay the bill.

Q: Congrats! Lets change subject:what do you to relax?

A: I don't relax, I can't. It might sound pathetic I know. I would like to organize a trip on a plane just so I can have time to sleep.

Q: What do you do when you are not working? Do you have a special day?

A: When I'm not working I often just sit down..I'm pretty boring. I try to watch a movie, but my attention doesn't last long, so after 20 minutes I get distracted and I start to play with my cellphone. It's an easy game I don't have to concentrate I just have to move a ball. I can play with this game for 16 hours.
Q: Almost like meditation...

A: Exactly. And it's all I do when I have free time: I sit and play..it's frustrating.

Q: You have a pretty stressful life?if this is the case, do you play this game to relax?


A:I'm more tired than stressed. It's strange feeling always tired, always exhausted. I can't even rest. It feels like I'm running even when I'm not moving.

Q: You could always go to the gym. Do you do it or you keep yourself in shape in other ways?

A: Unfortunately I had to workout at the beginning of breaking dawn's shooting. I didn't want to, but I had to do it because I have to go around shirtless and I was obsessed with it: I didn't want to fail. So I started to eat healthier go to the gym and for bike rides. I did a lot of sport and then after the shirtless scene I stopped. I hope I'm never going to have do this again so i can eat all the pretzels I want.

Q: Pretzels?

A: I love them: it's crazy but I eat like tons of them every week. And I love m&m's too. It's insane but I can't resist pretzels and m&m's. My dog loves pretzels too

Q: You have a dog??? How can you take care of him with all of your work?

A: I don't know, I just got him.

I took him from a dog shelter they wanted to kill him. I saw him and I took him. I didn't want him to die. I didn't give him a name yet! when Iwas young I had another dog and it's very relaxing to have them near. I love to have my dog with me all the time...he is like a saviour.

Q: You feel ruthless because you are always traveling?


A: Pretty much, and it's bazaar. When I'm working I don't think about it. I go home, I set my alarm, i sleep, I wake up and I go to work. It doesn't matter where I am. I could be in my London but it will always be the same wherever I am.

Q: What do you miss of England when you are in the states or anywhere else?

A: Newspapers. I still love the British ones more. But I miss the sport's page most.

Q: What do you read on them?

A: Soccer (We're actually thinking he said the proper word 'football'.. don't want to offend any fans)

Q: What did you learn in this last year?


A: That not everybody likes you. (You can't please everybody).

Just days after Rob dismissed rumors that he had given Justin Bieber hair tips, Bieber's reps have said the same to E!

"This never actually happened," a rep for Justin tells E! News. "Justin never claimed to have met Robert."

Rob joked about it while talking to MTV Friday.



We're just happy the whole thing has been cleared up. And (after watching that video again), that the wavy forest has a chance of making a comeback.

After fans wondered whether the music on the new trailer was part of the soundtrack, director Francis Lawrence was quick to respond.





While we wait for the official answer, it seems TeamRileyAUS has already tracked it down. We did get an update on the film's soundtrack (which you can now pre-order on Amazon), from the folks who are working on it.





Sony logo?? let's look at that trailer again shall we. Not only that, but now we know what the film will be rated (love the snip tool).. which pretty much guarantees that the smexy scenes will be on the tame side. When does Bel Ami come out again?..



The international release schedule is also out. Canada don't worry, according to the official WFE Facebook page your release date is the same as the U.S.



Which brings us to what you REALLY want to know. What is all the dramz with the U.S. red carpet premiere?

Short version: director Francis Lawrence tweeted it would be on April 17th in New York. People made plans, booked overseas flights.. and then an update on the Mann Theaters site changed everything.



April 14th at Grauman's Chinese theater.. IN. L.A. When asked about it on Facebook, this is what Fox had to say about it.

Interesting to note that the Mann's Water for Elephants premiere date and LA location is not listed at their site anymore, likely at the request of the studio. However UK you can start making your camping plans. That red carpet premiere has been confirmed for May 3rd. Unless Summit comes after you too (jk).. and Rob is expected to attend!

New Moon director Chris Weitz has only been on twitter for a few days, but already he's become a fan favorite. Today he conducted an impromptu Q&A with fans. First order of business.. his thoughts on Water for Elephants.



Weitz then went on to answer question after question from fans, everything from his favorite scene from New Moon to the funniest one. We've put (most of) his tweets together in the slideshow below.




You may remember Weitz was the one who wrote about Rob, when he made it into the 2010 TIME 100 list. Now Weitz is back promoting his latest film "A Better Life."



The film will be released this summer and we'll be sure to check it out, not only because it looks great.. but because 'Chris' is now one of us.

Fashion Week is in full swing in New York, and even there people can't help but bring up Twilight. Refinery29 got a chance to talk to figure skating champ Johnny Weir after he participated in Elise Overland's show. And what did they want to know?

The day has arrived!, fans finally get to (fingers crossed) watch Rob walk down the red carpet on his way to present an award at the Golden Globes in LA. Since we won't be there, we're putting you as close to the action as we can.. with the scoop on how the night will likely go for Rob.

Let's start with the question many of you have been asking, will Rob walk the red carpet (getting set up below)?



As of now, it looks like a sure bet. Various news outlets have reported that he will, likely because he's already on that red carpet arrivals list. As far as what he'll wear, we're thinking traditional tux, but you know Rob!



Sounds like he will be taking questions too.. we just hope he is not too tipsy by then, because according to The Hollywood Reporter, there will be plenty of drinking:

The show patrons continue to enjoy their drink. It is the most spirited of the major award shows. Some 9000 glasses of Moet & Chandon champagne will be drunk Sunday. One thousand Moet minis will be served on the red carpet and leading into the ballroom. In the ballroom, all magnums are pre-prepped so that they are popped and chilled in ice buckets on the table.

When it comes to figuring out who his date will be, it will be interesting to see. E! claims that Kristen has no plans to attend the ceremony or the afterparties. The issue then becomes who will he take?. Presenters are allowed one guest, but if Rob brings his agent or manager they likely won't be sitting with him. Why you ask? two words.. Judy Solomon.

Even more unique in a town where everyone owes someone else a favor, Solomon doesn’t seem to care who she pisses off. Last year, she caused a mini world war when she declared that no agents or managers could sit in the pit—i.e., the area closest to the stage, where the biggest movie stars are seated. (The logic was that too many dark suits in the audience does not make for sexy TV.) This ruling prevented CAA partner Kevin Huvane from sitting with his client Meryl Streep, who was nominated for a Best Actress award for Julie & Julia.




CAA’s reaction? “Explosive,” said one source. Huvane “wanted to go with Meryl.”


In the end, Huvane went, but was seated in the more bourgeois tier of tables just above the pit.

ET confirmed Rob will sit at the Summit table with Helen Mirren and Bruce Willis, both stars of Red. So even if he decides is forced to fly solo, at least he'll be in good company. And what a meal they will share!



That is.. if he gets there early enough according to The Hollywood Reporter:

The room is full of hungry stars. Waiters remove all the food before 5 pm regardless of whether the stars make it to their tables to eat. The production does not want the sound of knives and forks clacking in the background of the show or people with potatoes hanging out of their mouth on camera. Consequently stars in 'the pit' -- the front area most coveted and packed with A-listers -- is full of people trying to get small plates of foods from the back delivered to them discreetly during the show.

Given Rob's previous award show arrival times, we're guessing he's going hungry.. lol. Moving on, once Rob does settle in, for sure he'll want to take a smoke break.. or ten. Turns out when it comes to awards shows, The Golden Globes are the best place for it:


Again, per The Hollywood Reporter:

The ballroom has what every other award show desperately (for some) lacks: an easily accessible smoking area. It's out the multi-door fire exits in the back overlooking the pool. This is where they should have a camera. It's the loosest scene of the night. Anyone who's restless, bored, or just needs a breath of air, hangs out. It's also "the" place to network during the show.

Does this describe the place Rob will LIVE during the show or what?!


Gold Derby found out Rob will present the award for Foreign Language Film along with Tron's Olivia Wilde. The Hollywood Reporter says that's usually the only award that voters consistently get right:

Nobody says the Globes are more prestigious, or voted upon by a more qualified electorate, than the Oscars. But there's one area where the HFPA might outshine AMPAS: best foreign- language film. Chalk it up to their being foreigners themselves, but they make consistently intelligent choices in this category. There's no The Tourist in these nominees.
